Capacity building

We offer advanced policy skills and thematic capacity building workshops for current and future professionals in international affairs.

Our trainings are short and intensive, designed for time-starved professionals wanting to keep up with the latest in international affairs, technology and communications. They are also designed for early career professionals wanting to add practical skills and current affairs to theoretical foundations they gain in higher education.

Our trainings are hands on. Participants put what they learn into practice immediately through tailor-made, tried and tested exercises.

Participants who successfully complete workshops receive a certificate of participation.

  • Our workshops develop in participants the practical skills needed to engage in international policy processes today. Our experts offer the latest on data visualisation, policy communications, tech for good and policy processes. Browse workshops.

  • Our thematic workshops help participants keep abreast of rapidly evolving global challenges, complex policy contexts and the dynamic international policy processes working to address them. Browse workshops.

  • We work with international organizations, governments, non-governmental organisations, business, universities and executive education institutions to co-design capacity building workshops for their staff, delegates and networks. Get in touch.

  • We offer subsidised capacity building for actors from the Global South, affected populations and minority groups. We reserve two subsidised places in each of our policy skills and capacity building workshops, and also jointly fundraise with non-governmental organisations and civil society actors to raise funds to run subsidised workshops for their networks.
